Omaha Area Baseball Fields
Rocket Park
When you enter Omaha
from the west on I-80, take I-680 North off of I-80 East and exit on
West Center Road. Going east on West Center Road, go past 108th Street
and 96th Street, and turn right (south) at Paddock Rd. (If you get to
90th and Center Streets, you’ve gone too far.) Paddock Road will bend
by an Earl May and bend back to the south going up a large hill. At
the very top of the hill, Rocket Park can be seen on the right (west)
side of the road down in a valley.
Note: As you drive east on West Center Road, if you get to 90th Street,
you’ve gone too far. If you know where Towl Park is, that’s Paddock
Rd. Just turn the opposite way. top
The Sandlot
Heading west on
I-80, take the Gretna Exit and go north on Highway 6 through Gretna
and continue north all the way to Dodge Street. Turn right (east) and
take Dodge Street east to the very first right turn at 192nd Street.
Take a right (turn south) onto 192nd Street (a dirt road) and follow
192nd Street south until you run into the Sandlot complex. The Sandlot
is about ½ miles south off of Dodge Street at 192nd Street. top
Gladiator Park – 7222 Irvington Road, Omaha, NE 68122
Take I-680 North
off of I-80 East when you get into Omaha. Follow I-680 north past the
Center Street, Pacific Street, Dodge Street, Maple Street and Fort Street
exits until you come to the Irvington Street exit. Take the Irvington
exit and turn east on Blair High Road. Go southeast on Blair High Road
for .2 miles until you come to the first stoplight. Turn left on Ida
Street and go northeast (road curves due east) .7 miles until you come
to the first stoplight. Turn left on Irvington Road and go northwest
.3 miles. Gladiator Park is on the left-hand side of the road. Parking
is provided in the parking lot at the part and across the street to
the east at church parking lot. top
Note: The Irvington
Road exit on I-680 is 2.5 miles north of West Maple Road Exit on I-680.
Northwest High
School
Take I-80 to Omaha
to I-680 exit
Take I-680 North to Blair/Irvington Road Exit #6
Turn right on Blair/Irvington Rd approx. 1.4 miles to Crown Point Ave.
Turn left on Crown Point Ave. – Go to School top
Hefflinger Park – 10900 West Maple Road, Omaha, NE
Take I-680 North
off of I-80 East when you get into Omaha. Follow I-680 north past the
Center Street, Pacific Street and Dodge Street exits until you come
to the West Maple Road exit. Take the West Maple Road exit and turn
left (west) onto West Maple Road. Go west on West Maple Road .5 miles
and turn left (south) on Emmet Street (Hefflinger Park Sign). The parking
lot is at the top of the small hill once you enter Hefflinger Park. top
Stan Bahnsen Park – Council Bluffs, IA
Take 1-29 north
off of 1-80 just east of the Missouri River. As you drive north on I-29,
take the 25th Street Exit and go 6 blocks south to Avenue G. Then, go
east on Avenue G for nine blocks to North 16th Street. Then turn back
north on North 16th Street. Go north to Avenue L and turn 1 block west
for the south parking lot or turn one block west on North 16th Street
on Avenue O for the east parking lot. top
Haggee Field –
Gretna, NE
Take I-80 east from
Lincoln to the Gretna Exit. Take a left turn at the Gretna exit and
drive north on Highway 31. Within a half mile, Highway 31 becomes Highway
6. Follow Highway 6 north for about 3 miles into Gretna. Continue north
on Highway 6 out of Gretna for about a mile or so to Cornhusker Road
– a gravel road.
- Note: The intersection of Highway 6 and Cornhusker Road is just on
the south side of a hilltop. There are one or two farmsteads at the
top of the hill on both sides of the road just to the north of the intersection.
Turn left (west) onto Cornhusker Road (gravel road) and follow it to
the west for about a half mile. You will see Haggee Field and a steel
building on the north side of the road. top
Halleck Park –
Papillion, NE
Take 1-80 east from
Lincoln past the Gretna Exit to the Highway 370 Exit (the exit that
used to have a JB’s Big Boy Restaurant on the northwest side of the
interstate). Take Highway 370 east and follow it for several miles east
to the intersection of Highway 370 and S 84th Streets. You will see
a McDonald’s restaurant on the south side of the intersection. Turn
left onto S 84th Street and follow it heading north into Papillion.
You will be driving through an old residential neighborhood as you drive
into town and will be steadily heading downhill. Turn right (east) at
E. Halleck Street and follow E. Halleck Street for a few short blocks
east. You will see Halleck Park and several ballfields on your left. top Map

Field - Bellevue, NE
Take I-80 to the
Hwy 370 exit.
Continue on into Bellevue.
You will come to a “T” intersection with Walgreen’s & Krispie Cream
in the vicinity.
Take a left at the “T”. Should be Galvin Rd.
Turn right on Harvell (Should be the 2nd Stop Light)
Turn left on Jewell. top
Anderson
Field - Omaha, NE
Take I-80 east to Omaha and exit at the Harrison Street Exit.
Turn LEFT onto Harrison Street and go approximately .4 miles to 132nd Street.
Turn RIGHT onto 132nd Street and go north on 132nd Street for approximately 1 mile to Q Street.
Turn LEFT onto Q Street and go west approximately .1 mile. You will see a Runza Restaurant on the south (left) side of Q Street and the Anderson Fields on the north (right) side of the fields.
Turn RIGHT into a small driveway that leads into the fields. top
Burke High School - Omaha, NE
Take I-80 east into Omaha
Merge onto I-680 N to Pacific Street Exit
Turn left and take Pacific Street west for .8 miles to 120th Street
Turn right and go .7 miles north on 120th Street to Burke Street
Turn left and go west on Burke Street for .1 mile
End at 12200 Burke Street, Omaha, NE 68154-2327. top
Zorinksky - Omaha, NE
Take I-80 east to Exit #370 (the Papillion/Bellevue Exit). Take the exit to Highway 370.
Turn left onto Highway 370 and go west for 1 mile.
Turn right onto S 168th Street and go north for 4.9 miles
The entrance to Zorinsky Park is at 4220 S. 168th Street. top

University Place
Field
Directions from
Omaha:
- Exit I-80 at the Lincoln 56th Street Exit.
- Follow 56th Street (South) to Cornhusker Hwy (Hwy-6).
- Turn right (West) on Cornhusker Hwy to 48th Street.
- Turn left (South) on 48th Street.
- Follow 48th Street to Francis Street (approximately 1 to 1 ½
miles)
- The field will be on your left. 48th Street and Francis Street. top
Cooper Field
Directions from
Omaha:
- Exit I-80
at the Lincoln 9th Street/I-180/Hwy 34 Exit.
- Take I-180 south into downtown Lincoln.
- When you get to the downtown Lincoln area, I-180 becomes 9th Street.
- Follow 9th Street (south) past O Street all the way to D Street.
- Turn right (west) on D Street and go 3 blocks west.
- Cooper Field will be on the South side of D Street. top
Airpark Field &
Arkfeld Field
Directions from
Omaha:
- Take I-80
west all the way around the north and west sides of Lincoln.
- Follow I-80 west past the Lincoln airport (on the right) and past
Capitol Beach (on the left). Eventually, you will be heading straight
west of Lincoln.
- Exit I-80 at the NW 48th Street/Airpark Exit and head north on NW
48th Street into the Airpark area.
- Turn right on W. Seward Street and go 1 or 2 blocks east to the Airpark
Field.
- Note: There are two baseball fields in the Airpark area. Airpark Field
is the smaller baseball field to the north. The larger field south of
Airpark Field is called Arkfeld Field. top
Ballard Field
Directions from
Omaha:
- Take I-80
west to the Waverly Exit (east of Lincoln).
- When you exit to the right at the Waverly Exit, you will run right
into Hwy 6 (a “T” intersection).
- Turn left (west) onto U.S. Hwy 6 and follow Hwy 6 west to 70th Street
in Lincoln.
- Take 70th Street south approximately 13 – 15 blocks to Seward Avenue.
- Turn right at Seward Avenue and go 4 blocks west on Seward Avenue
to Ballard Park.
- Ballard Field is at Ballard Park. top
Mahoney Park
From Omaha:
- Take I-80
west to the Waverly Exit (east of Lincoln).
- When you exit to the right at the Waverly Exit, you will run right
into Hwy 6 (a “T” intersection).
- Turn left (west) onto U.S. Hwy 6 and follow Hwy 6 west to 70th Street
in Lincoln.
- Take 70th Street south approximately 18-20 blocks to Fremont Avenue.
- On the east side of 70th Street at the Fremont Street intersection
is the entrance to Mahoney Park.
- Drive east into Mahoney Park and follow the winding road until you
reach the Mahoney 4-plex baseball/softball field complex. top
