All Rebel teams played in the 17th Annual Rebels Memorial Day Tournament. Results can be found on the Memorial Day Tournament link.
The Lincoln Rebel 14 year old baseball team won seven consecutive games to capture the championship of the OMAHA SLUMPBUSTER tournament. The Rebels defeated teams from Pennsylvania, Colorado, Texas, Iowa and California outscoring their opponents 65-18. In the semi-finals they defeated the Houston Heat of Texas 5-3 and in the finals they defeated the Del Mar Colts of California 7-0. It marked the fourth tournament title this season for the Rebel 14's who are 36-5 entering the USSSA State Tournament. Picture
The Rebel 10s team won the Nebraska 10 Open State Tournament. They won five games including wins over the Gladiators and the Pacesetters on the final day. This tournament was the 3rd tournament win for the 10s this season! They finished with a record of 40-11 and a #5 power rating in the country and head to Nationals in Denver, CO July 12th - 19th.
